Volunteer STEM Activity Planner

STEM Canada is a registered not for profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.

We are currently seeking volunteers to actively help us plan programming for upcoming programs we are running at the following universities:

•	University of Alberta
•	Western University
•	University of Laval
•	University British Columbia
•	York University
•	Queens University

** Please note you do not have to actively be from the above listed universities in order to join this volunteer planning and programming opportunity.

By volunteering for this initiative, you will be available at least one hour per week for team meetings.

The volunteer opportunity includes planning activities in and around campus including:
•	gathering required staff to roll out programs
•	looking in the local area to plan extracurricular activities for students
•	working with existing University faculty to provide programming to students
•	seeking out on campus activities

The volunteer position will begin immediately with training planned to begin right away.
This position is remote.

The volunteer position is expected to last anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks and is based on your availability.

This volunteer position is remote, but you are required to attend our virtual office during your volunteer hours.
