Kids Clubs Walking Buddy

Assist with the pickup of of children from a local public school and safely walk them to KSM on program days and stay to supervise the children's snack time.  Suitable for volunteers 18+. 

Available Shifts: Weekly role on Wednesdays or Fridays 2:20 - 3:45pm for the duration of the school year (mid September to late June).  

Responsibilities: 

Check-in at KSM prior to shift start and walk to the school with fellow volunteers or a staff member.
Meet children outside of local public school.
Walk with the children to KSM and ensure road safety.
Ensure the each child travels safely from the school to KSM.
Maintain order and safety en route.
Positively interact with and build positive relationships with children.
Help supervise children during snack period once at KSM.
Requirements:

Must be 18+.
Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is required.
