You can set your own schedule 
We are looking for volunteer drivers in the County of Athabasca and the County of Lac La Biche. The drivers pick up our clients at their homes and take them to their cancer related appointments outside their home communities. After waiting for the appointment to finish, they will drive the client back to their home. This is all done at no charge to our clients. Our drivers claim mileage at rates set by the CRA.

Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Our volunteers are able to claim mileage expenses at rates set by the CRA every year. Currently it is 72 cents per KM for the first 5,000KM then 66 cents per KM after that. They may also claim meal and parking expenses.
