Career Services Advisors (Volunteer)

STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)

We are expanding our programming to industry-specific, hands-on experiences. We require an Career Services Advisors volunteer to help us keep the momentum going in support of the growth and development of these programs. We ask you to join us in continuing to serve the youth in our community.

Location: Remote 
Time Commitment: 6 hours a week

Responsibilities:
•	Supporting Program Development and Growth.
•	Teamwork and Collaboration
•	Career counseling Providing individual and group career counseling sessions.
•	Creating and implementing career development workshops and programs.
•	Proficiency in using career services software and tools

Qualifications:
•	A vibrant personality with excellent communication skills to engage and connect with the public of all ages.
•	Ability to work effectively with other volunteers and team members, contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
•	Time management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
•	Familiarity with the academic environment and student needs.
