Sponsorship and Partnership Manager

STEM Canada is a registered not-for-profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.

Time commitment: 6 hours a week
Description: Are you excited about shaping the future of global education? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our international event planning team for an upcoming Global Education Fair, where we’ll showcase our innovative Medical Science and Engineering Academy's to a diverse audience. This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience, work alongside industry experts, and make a significant impact on the educational landscape. By volunteering for 3 months, you’ll help create an engaging and memorable experience for attendees while showcasing the transformative potential of our innovation programming for students ages 7-17. Come be a part of this exciting project and help us connect with parents, students and educators from around the world!
Key Responsibilities:
Find and connect with potential sponsors and partners, showcasing the advantages of backing our worldwide virtual educational events.
Create and pitch sponsorship proposals that are customized to the preferences and objectives of potential sponsors.
Develop and sustain solid relationships with sponsors and partners, making sure their requirements are fulfilled and their expectations are surpassed.
Discuss terms, deliverables, and financial contributions when negotiating sponsorship and partnership agreements.
Work together with event teams to make sure sponsor and partner requirements are fulfilled, such as visibility, branding, and engagement opportunities.
Track and assess the success of sponsorships and partnerships, delivering reports and feedback to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sponsorship and partnership Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful sponsorship campaigns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Skill in creating and delivering persuasive proposals and presentations.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative strategies.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Passion for STEM education and commitment to promoting STEM literacy and application.
Cultural sensitivity and ability to engage with a diverse global audience.
