A Dementia Friendly Visitor

Objective: To deliver client-specific recreation activities and social opportunities to persons living with dementia (PLWD) in the home. The aim is to stimulate memory and improve confidence and overall quality of life while providing a weekly break for both the individual and the caregiver.

Comfortable working with boundaries in a 1:1 program

Trainings (you will receive):
Volunteer Orientation Session
AODA certificate training
Alzeducate (volunteer modules)
