Education Assistant - Children's Camps (Youth Applicants)

The Art Gallery of Burlington runs children's camps throughout the year on PA days, winter break, March break and summer holidays. We are seeking Education Assistants help create a fun and educational environment for our campers ages 4 -12. Orientation and training will be provided. Full day (8:30 - 4:00) and half day (morning or afternoon) commitments are available for our volunteers. 

Responsibilities include:
Helping with camper sign in and out 
Assist with the setup and cleanup of the day’s activities 
Help escort children to various places within the gallery 
Lead games  
Engage with children in a friendly and fun manner 
Help to ensure safe studio practices 

Skills: 
Excellent communication skills 
Are friendly, engaging, and have high energy 
Work well with children ages 4-12 
Self-directed 
Problem solves effectively 
Team player
