16 E.M.Powers (Mental & Emotional Health Campaign): Social Media/Outreach Assistant

We are looking for volunteers to help promote our upcoming 16 E.M.Powers campaign. This series of 16 free online meditation workshops over 16 days will be in support of the United Nations call to “UNITE! Invest to Prevent Violence Against Women and Girls”. (NOTE - This event is meant for everyone, not just women and girls!)

The campaign will from November 25 to December 10. 

We need help ASAP with:
--- Spreading the word to different organizations you are involved with (eg. your school, community groups, your friends & family etc).  
--- Promotions on your social media, local news
--- Use your network to amplify the message and participation!

AND/OR
--- Attending and actively participating in one or more online events (follow the guided meditation instructions, pay attention to the content as a regular participant)and providing feedback on the session(s).

We will give you:
--- The digital posters, email text invite template, website link (with event details) to help promote the events!

About Us: 
-- We are Sahaja Yoga Meditation Network, a 19 year old Halton-based non-profit.
-- We launched 100 Seeds of Joy with the Mayor of Burlington in 2023. 
-- In ‘23, we delivered 400+ free and creative mental and emotional health workshops
