Licensed Child Care Centres Volunteer

Volunteers will work together with staff taking care of children of different ages, from 3 months to school age depending on the centre. 
Volunteers will assist program staff in setting up and cleaning up the room with different activities, playing with children, attending to the children’s needs and assists staff in planning. Utilizes teaching techniques such as role modeling, observing, demonstrating, and reinforcing. 

Location and hours: 
Program’s hours vary throughout the week depending on each schedule and location. 
• Christine Sinclair Child Care Centre: 3713 Kensington Ave , Burnaby

Skills and Experience: 
• Experience working with young children is an asset
• Enjoy interacting and feel comfortable around young children
• Reliable and committed

Other requirements: 
• Good reference checks
•  Successful completion of criminal record check
•  19 years and up
