Computer Instructor

The Burnaby Neighbourhood House is looking for volunteers to assist learners in the in-person computer drop-in programs at the following locations:

1. South House (4460 Beresford Street):

    Mondays from 12:00pm - 2:00pm
    Thursdays from 3:00pm - 5:00pm

2. North House (4908 Hastings Street)

    Mondays from 10:00am - 12:00pm
    Tuesdays from 12:00pm - 2:00pm

We are also doing Outreach at various locations in Burnaby.

If you have good tech skills, are patient, have good teaching skills and love sharing what you know with others, this is an excellent fit for you. Email computercafe@burnabynh.ca if you are interested.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
As a Computer Instructor, you will have an opportunity to improve your teaching skills,  create engaging lessons, and suggest appropriate learner resources. You get to work with adults and seniors who need support with basic tech skills such as navigating a computer, sending emails, connecting with social media and learning to be safe online.
