Accessibility Renovations for Kids (ARK) is a Calgary charity, whose goal is to ease the daily lives of children with mobility challenges by renovating or modifying their family home to make it more accessible.

We are seeking a detail-oriented volunteer Finance Team Assistant who are able to handle a high volume of data with confidentiality and integrity. In close collaboration with the Treasurer, the Finance Team Assistant will play a crucial role in generating financial reports and executing key tasks that advance our mission to transform the lives of children with mobility challenges.

Time Commitment: Approximately 2-4 hours per week


Duties and Responsibilities:
•	Tax Receipts - posting donation/grant monies received into QBO and issuing tax receipts when necessary, keeping track of receipt numbering in the external spreadsheet for tax-issued and non-tax receipts
•	Expense data entry - enter all expenses into QBO
•	Review bank feed of bank and credit card account to confirm all monies paid out or received have the backup documents attached to the customer or vendor entries
•	Assist Treasurer with Financial Reporting and Accounting

Qualifications:
•	A post-secondary education in accounting, commerce, or finance.
•	Previous experience in the same or related role is an asset.
•	Familiarity with the QuickBooks software.
•	Proficiency in Google Workspace.
