RECREATION SERVICES VOLUNTEER

All Bethany locations are always seeking dynamic volunteers who enjoy interacting with and providing support to seniors. Recreation volunteers help engage residents to participate, give individual support if needed, and improve the quality of group programs. This may include but not be limited to recreation events & programs, outings, special events, library programs, outdoor activities, bingo assistant, entertainment, and musicians.

Additional Details & Skills Required
Volunteers can support activities, events and programs that have been scheduled and planned by the recreation staff or can take a larger role in planning and delivering activities, events and programs independently once approved by support staff.
Certification or Education Required
This is a great opportunity for anyone in post secondary recreation therapy programs or for those considering pursuing the recreation therapy field and looking for experience.
