Delivery Driver

đźš—As a BB4CK delivery driver, you're a vital part of ensuring lunches make it to schools on time. Starting from our Central Kitchen downtown, you pack your vehicle and head out to deliver to multiple schools before returning empty bins and ice packs. Your dedication ensures that kids have the nourishment they need to learn and play. Your dedication means that kids have access to lunches to support them as they learn, grow, and play.

🗺️Location and Training 
- Come join us at our Main Kitchen, 909 11 Ave SW, Calgary, AB. It's where the lunch-making magic happens! You’ll be delivering lunches from this location to the schools on your designated route. 
- No worries if you're not a delivery professional (or nascar driver) – we welcome all volunteers, and we'll teach you everything you need to know right here!

⏰Time Commitment
Life can get busy, we get it! This role asks for a 6-month commitment with just one volunteer shift per week.
- We offer four shift start times: 9:15am, 9:30am, 9:45am, and 10am, each lasting up to 2 hours - Monday through Thursday mornings. 
- BB4CK is closed on all STATS and during the winter school break.

Additional Details & Skills Required
- A valid drivers license with a vehicle and proper insurance is required.
- An organized mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to adapt. Safety and food handling are important, so following BB4CK guidelines is a must.
- A little bit of flexibility and agility – you might be squatting, bending, lifting (up to 30lbs), and standing/sitting for a bit.
Certification or Education Required
Valid Alberta Drivers License
