Donations and Clothing Laundry Helper
Alpha House provides a safe and caring environment for those with addictions and mental health challenges and are often impacted by homelessness. Many of these individuals are in need of clean clothes and this is where you come in. You can help us help our clients by sorting clothing donations, washing as needed and sorting them in our laundry room

We provide an agency orientation and VSS waiver as part of becoming a volunteer.
Certification or Education Required
As part of process of becoming a volunteer online training includes: Freedom of Information Act (test), Protection for Persons in Care Act Guidelines, Ergonomics Training, and Alberta Food Basics Interactive Course (if time in the kitchen is also being sough. Alpha House HR Documents related to volunteering are also sign off material.
