Director of Grants and Sponsorship

The office of Director of Grants and Sponsorship for our local Farmers and Makers Markets is responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities to support the organization’s growth and sustainability. This role involves researching and applying for grants, cultivating relationships with potential sponsors, and ensuring that financial partnerships align with the organization’s mission of promoting local businesses and community engagement. 

The Director of Grants and Sponsorship will:
- Attend CEMS Board meetings
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources to support the market's initiatives
- Prepare and submit grant applications
- Develop sponsorship packages and proposals, outlining the benefits and recognition sponsors will receive in return for their contributions
