English Conversation Group Volunteers Needed at Calgary Public Library!

2-2 hours / weekly
6 month minimum
We are seeking volunteers to facilitate our English Conversation Group at Calgary Public Library.
English Conversation Group helps adult Newcomers with intermediate English skills practice listening and speaking English in small groups, learn about local community, and meet new people. This is an ongoing program that runs in 6-week sessions, 2 hours once a week.  A team of 2-3 volunteers facilitates conversations and activities using the library provided modules.

We are looking for volunteers with English language fluency, strong communication skills, and an ability to accommodate a diversity of backgrounds and skill levels.

Volunteers are needed at:
•	Nicholls Family Library, Sundays, 1 – 3pm
•	Judith Umbach Library, Mondays, 6:30 – 8:30pm
•	Memorial Park Library, Mondays, 6 – 7:45pm & Thursdays, 6 – 7:45pm
•	Village Square Library, Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8:30pm
•	Central Library, Wednesdays, 2 – 4pm & Thursdays, 2 – 4pm
•	Louise Riley Library, Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30pm
•	Quarry Park Library, Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:30pm
•	Seton Library, Thursdays, 6:30 – 8:30pm
•	Signal Hill Library, Saturdays, 2 – 4pm
