Calgary Youth Coding Club

Welcome to the Calgary Youth Coding Club! We are a youth driven volunteer iniative located in Calgary. During COVID 19, self-isolation and quarantine led to an increasingly growing feeling of loneliness, especially for youth. Although we were forced to isolate, technology allowed us to continue connecting with each other, albeit through a screen. The CYCC was originally established to help the transition online easier for less tech-savvy people, but eventually moved to being a community for Calgarians to develop and learn about technology together. Today we are aiming to develop the abilities of an individual to a maximum by fostering an environment that will help each individual discover their potential. This year we aim to address the mental health crisis with community events and youth driven projects.
