Marketing & Communications Volunteer

🌟 About the Role

The Marketing & Communications Volunteer will handle newsletters, website updates, community partnerships, and event promotion to ensure that CIIC’s programs reach the right audience.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

✅ Email & Newsletter Management

    Create and send monthly newsletters via Microsoft Outlook or Mailchimp.
    Write engaging emails to inform the community about upcoming events.

✅ Community Outreach & Partnership Development

    Collaborate with mosques, Islamic organizations, and schools to promote CIIC programs.
    Build relationships with local businesses for sponsorship and support.
    Help draft sponsorship letters and partnership proposals.

✅ Website & Content Updates

    Keep CIIC’s website updated with program details, blog articles, and events.
    Work with the Social Media Team to ensure a consistent message across all platforms.

💡 Preferred Skills & Experience

    Strong writing and communication skills.
    Experience with Mailchimp, WordPress, or Wix for website/blog updates.
    Comfortable with outreach, partnerships, and event promotion.
    Background in communications, PR, or community engagement is a plus.
