Program Coordinator Volunteer

The Canadian Islamic Information Centre (CIIC) is seeking a proactive and organized Program Coordinator Volunteer to help plan, manage, and execute programs and events that align with CIIC’s mission. This role involves coordinating logistics, engaging with participants, and ensuring that programs run smoothly and effectively. By contributing your organizational and communication skills, you’ll play a key role in creating impactful experiences for the community. Key Responsibilities: Program Planning: Assist in designing and organizing community programs, workshops, and events. Develop program schedules and ensure all logistical needs are met. Coordination and Execution: Coordinate with volunteers, speakers, and other stakeholders to ensure program success. Oversee program setup, participant engagement, and post-event evaluations. Participant Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants. Provide support and address any inquiries or concerns during programs. Administrative Support: Maintain records of program attendance, feedback, and outcomes. Assist in preparing promotional materials and communication for programs. Feedback and Improvement: Gather and analyze participant feedback to improve future programs. Contribute creative ideas to enhance the quality and impact of CIIC’s offerings. Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. Experience in event planning or program coordination (preferred but not required). Passion for CIIC’s mission and a desire to contribute to community development.
