As a CNIB Vision Mate, you could make someone's day by providing meaningful companionship and support. Make a major impact in the life of a blind or partially sighted individual by volunteering with CNIB! This opportunity is a one-to-one, community-based companionship program that pairs a CNIB client with a volunteer. Who you are: - A friendly, kind and empathetic individual with a couple of hours to spare during the week - A reliable individual that is open and willing to learn about the experiences of others What you will do: - Meet an individual weekly for approximately 2 hours, at time that suits you both - Engage in activities such as conversation, reading mail, home organization, listening to music or audiobooks, walking in the community, or even just grabbing a coffee together!
