Centre for Newcomers Calgary

Since 1988, the Centre for Newcomers (CFN) has been a vital resource for immigrants and refugees of all nationalities in Calgary. As a social profit organization, CFN promotes integration as a two-way process of experience, influence, and impact between newcomers and the communities that welcome them.
Our Vision
We envision a community that values diversity, where people of all backgrounds can find and create opportunities to fulfill their dreams and fully participate as citizens.
Our Mission
We support newcomers and the receiving community in becoming a diverse, united community. Through our services and initiatives, we create conditions for newcomers' success and foster a welcoming environment in Calgary.
Our Promise
By welcoming newcomers and supporting their settlement and integration, we work collaboratively and in partnership, fostering a workplace culture founded on respect, cooperation, and trust. In doing so, we positively impact the lives of all Calgarians and the broader community.
Our Values
Our services are guided by our core values: equality and respect, collaboration, communication, professionalism, caring, diversity, and inclusion.
