Dance Without Limits: Volunteer with the Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta! SATURDAYS in EDMONTON

Overview
Join the Dance Without Limits program and empower youth and young adults with disabilities to shine on the dance floor! Led by a dance instructor from Ballet Edmonton and supported by a physical therapist, each session is specially designed to cater to the unique needs of participants. This program blends physical therapy with the joy of dance, fostering confidence and self-esteem.

Responsibilities as a Volunteer: 
Commitment: Attend all weekly sessions from September 21 to December 14 (no class October 12)
Training: Receive guidance from a qualified therapist on interacting and dancing with participants.
Engagement: Assist in creating memorable experiences for participants, being playful and engaged throughout each session.

Time Commitment and Location
Time: Saturdays, 3:15PM - 4:15PM
Duration: February 22 - May 10 (no classes on April 19)
Location: The Meadows Recreation Centre, 2704 17 Street, Edmonton, AB

Requirements
Must be 18 years or older.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to dance and interact under the instructor's guidance.
Commitment to punctuality and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Provide a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Check (online application covered by CPAA).

Working Conditions
Handling of props and adaptation to various styles of music.
