Tech for Seniors
IT'S ALL ABOUT CONNECTION! You can be the bridge that keeps a senior in your community connected. Make a difference in the life of an isolated senior in your community and add positivity to your life. Do you like working with smart phones and tablets? Do you enjoy socializing with seniors, playing games or teaching new skills? Our program matches Deaf or hard of hearing seniors with volunteers for social interaction and new learning opportunities with technology.
Additional Details & Skills Required
We need volunteers who can demonstrate/train the use of technology such as ipads/tablets to seniors & other volunteers. Training will be provided on assistive technology to use with those who are hard of hearing. Those who are comfortable using ASL will be paired with someone wanting to learn ASL to use with Deaf seniors.
