DIL Walk Foundation provides quick and easy access to important health check-ups, so you can get help in just days instead of waiting weeks. Our services are free and designed to make a difference with minimal effort from you. Our “Do It for Life” Campaign: Blood Pressure Care Our latest program focuses on high blood pressure—a common health concern in Canada affecting 1 in 4 people. To make care convenient, we want to be where people are, bringing health assessments to workplaces, organizations, community centers, or societies to bring care close to home. "Do It for Life" Campaign, the largest ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) screening initiative in North America. This campaign aims to screen 100,000 individuals to raise awareness about hypertension, one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in North America, and to help prevent strokes, heart attacks, and sudden cardiac death. Check us up at DILWalk.ca Your Responsibilities 1. Handling Patient Information: • Ensure all patient information is collected accurately and handled with utmost confidentiality. • Maintain and store patient records securely, following all privacy and data protection guidelines. 2. Device Distribution: • Distribute ABPM devices to participants as per the campaign guidelines. • Provide participants with clear instructions on how to use the device correctly. 3. Device Collection: • Collect the ABPM devices from participants after the monitoring period. • Ensure devices are returned in good condition and check them for any issues. 4. Community Screening: • Aim to screen at least individuals within your community. • Encourage community members to participate and educate them about the importance of hypertension screening.
