d.talks is a vibrant organization dedicated to fostering design thinking and community engagement through innovative programming and events like Design Week Calgary. We rely on the passion and dedication of volunteers to help us achieve our mission and make a meaningful impact in the arts and design community.

d.talks is seeking passionate Content Writers to craft compelling stories, articles, and event spotlights for our blog and volunteer newsletter. If you love writing and want to contribute to conversations about design, architecture, and the built environment, we’d love to have you on board!

WHAT WILL THE VOLUNTEER BE DOING?

Writing and editing articles, interviews, and event highlights for the d.talks blog and volunteer newsletter
Researching and developing engaging content that aligns with d.talks’ mission
Collaborating with the team to craft compelling stories that showcase design, architecture, and urbanism conversations
Assisting in proofreading and refining content to maintain a consistent and professional tone

WHAT SKILLS WE NEED FROM VOLUNTEERS?

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Ability to research and synthesize information into clear, engaging content
Passion for design, architecture, and community-driven initiatives
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
