This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and contribute to making a significant impact on individuals' lives. Responsibilities: Write clear, compelling, and engaging content for various platforms (website, blog, social media, newsletters, reports) Conduct research to ensure accuracy and relevance of content Collaborate with the marketing & communications team to develop content strategies that align with Empowered Future’s goals Edit and proofread content to ensure high-quality standards Stay updated with current trends and best practices in content writing and digital marketing Assist in the creation of multimedia content, including videos and infographics, as needed Attend weekly team meetings on Mondays at 7:00 pm MDT & Tuesdays at 12pm MDT Qualifications: Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills. Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Strong research skills and ability to present complex information in an accessible manner Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems (CMS) Creativity and the ability to think outside the box Benefits: Empowering emerging adults with their growth and development.
