Friday Bingo Volunteer - 1:00PM-3:00PM with Seniors

Help us engage our residents in our weekly Bingo! Every Friday we are looking for a few volunteers from approx 1:00-3:00PM. Help with bingo cards, portering, and shouting "BINGO"

Providence Care
Purpose of Activity:

1.	To enable the residents to participate in an enjoyable leisure activity.

Skills Required:

1.	An interest in bingo and working with seniors.
2.	Willingness to help others.
3.	Friendly and mature.
4.	Dependable, punctual
5.	Ability to push/pull residents in wheelchair.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1.	Assist with preparation and clean up.
2.	Porter residents to and from program area.
3.	Assist residents to participate in the program by:
a.	pointing out the numbers called
b.	assisting resident to cover numbers
c.	encouraging resident to call out BINGO
d.	encouraging awareness when another resident wins
4.	Other duties as required.

Orientation/Training:

1.	Orientation to Placement provided by Activity Leader.
