Enjoy learning, helping and laughing ALL year round with the 25th Annual FUNNYFEST Calgary Comedy Festival Society as we do --- ALL things funny. There are over 20 different volunteer opportunities to get involved in at FunnyFest --- From office or administrative help to over 100 comedy events and workshops to special projects --- There is something for EVERYONE. FunnyFest Society is a catalyst for physical and mental well - being through the Gift of Laughter. We give back to the community more than we take in. FunnyFest develops programming, comedy talent & volunteer talent. We give to charities, produce major events, write comedy, train people in public speaking, train comedians and create funny video content. We have 5 seminars and workshops we deliver for the lay person to enhance their public speaking skills and include laughter in speeches and presentations --- Students learn the actual art & craft of comedy from headline performers. FunnyFest Society has MANY opportunities for volunteers at our office, at events, with special projects or just about anything you can think of. Volunteer opportunities are available usually 7 days a week! FunnyFest tries to make our events attainable to all people with an incredible average ticket price of $20.
