Independent Living Resource Centre Calgary

Independent Living Resource Centre Calgary (ILRCC) is a nonprofit organization that supports individuals with disabilities to live as independently as they wish. At our organization we have recreational programs that foster social inclusion and peer support, we have a personal empowerment program that aids individuals in service navigation, resources, referrals and self-advocacy as well as providing educational workshops and presentations on various subjects that lead to health and independent living, and a volunteer program in which we find and support individuals in their volunteer placements within our own office or in the community that advances skills and self-confidence.
