Inside Out Theatre

Inside Out Theatre is a vibrant and community-rooted Deaf, Disability, and Mad theatre company based in Calgary. We are known for our artistic innovation, our commitment to disability culture and leadership, and our belief that theatre can be a tool for connection, belonging, and joyful self-expression.

Our mission is to produce and present plays that showcase the creativity and vibrancy of Disabled, Deaf, and Mad artists; to host community-based drama programs that nurture relationships and reduce isolation; and to deepen accessibility practices in the wider arts sector so that audiences and artists alike can participate with dignity and autonomy.
