Senior's Club Facilitator

Are you outgoing, enjoy planning activities, and chatting with people?

We are looking for a Senior's Club Facilitator!  

The Senior’s Club Facilitator will work closely with the Program Coordinator to plan out weekly activities for the residents – chatting, playing board games, walking around the block, potlucks, etc. The main objective of the program is to support and encourage our older residents to participate in activities, share their experiences and build community with one another. This program is meant to be an outlet and opportunity for our older residents to come together, socialize and voice out the concerns, joys, doubts they have as they age. The volunteer should be friendly and outgoing, and feel comfortable leading a small group and planning engaging activities. 

Shift:
Tuesdays 12:45pm - 2:30pm

Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 18 yrs of age or older
- Clear police record check with a vulnerable sector search
- Adherence to Volunteer Agreement
- Complete training and FOIP certification
- Weekly commitment for a minimum of 4 months
