Open Arms Patient Advocacy Society

Open Arms Patient Advocacy Society is a not-for-profit Alberta organization run by concerned volunteers with a commitment to assist families and patients in obtaining information and support when they may have unanswered questions or complaints with respect to their treatment within the health system.

We are dedicated to using the knowledge we have gained to work with stakeholders and the Alberta Health System to create superior, transparent healthcare for all Albertans.

Our mission is to assist and support families who have a medical complaint due to issues experienced within the health system including: adverse medical care, concerns about quality of care or communication difficulties.
