Academic Support Manager

The Academic Support Manager will oversee the recruitment, training, and management of volunteer tutors who provide academic support to newcomers. This role requires strong organizational skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to enhancing the learning experience for students.

Job Responsibilities
Research and Data Analysis: Conduct research on high school students' academic performance and needs to inform curriculum development. Analyze data trends to make informed decisions regarding program improvements and resource allocation.
Resource Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of academic resources, including curriculum,  study materials, online tools, and reference guides.
Recruitment and Training: Recruit, screen, and train volunteer tutors to ensure they are well-prepared to support students.
Tutor-Student Matching: Assess students’ academic needs and match them with appropriate tutors based on compatibility and subject expertise.
Ongoing Support: Provide continuous support and guidance to tutors, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed in their roles.
Quality Monitoring: Monitor the quality of tutoring services provided, addressing any issues or challenges that arise to maintain high standards.
Workshop Organization: Organize supplemental workshops and training sessions to enhance the skills of both tutors and students.
