We strive to create opportunities for families, especially newcomers, to thrive by providing resources, workshops, and community engagement programs that make a difference in their integration journey. Position Overview: The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing key projects that support RISEC’s mission, particularly in the areas of settlement and community engagement. You will manage the lifecycle of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with organizational goals. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, stakeholders, and volunteers. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, resources, and milestones. Ensure all projects align with RISEC’s mission and objectives. Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including volunteers, to ensure project deliverables are met. Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Program Director, to manage expectations, provide updates, and address concerns. Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress and performance using ClickUp or other project management tools. Prepare and deliver regular status reports to the leadership team. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure project challenges are addressed proactively. Budget Management: Work with the finance team to manage project budgets and resources efficiently. Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to RISEC’s values, policies, and relevant regulations, including Canadian data privacy laws. Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-project evaluations and recommend process improvements for future projects. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. PMP or CAPM certification is an asset, but not required. PMP candidates currently working on their designation are welcome. Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within a non-profit or community-based organization. Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in project management software (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, or Trello). Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently. Other Requirements Must be willing to sign an NDA due to the confidential nature of RISEC projects. Police clearance may be required depending on the nature of the project. Commitment to RISEC’s mission, vision, and values.
