SafeLink Alberta invites community members to join our Drumbeat Advisory Board and help shape the future of our wellness programs. Objective: The Drumbeat Advisory Board plays a pivotal role in guiding the strategies and goals of the Drumbeat Program. Your insights and expertise will ensure our program remains responsive to the diverse wellness needs of our community. Membership Diversity: We're looking for 3 to 15 external members with varied lived experiences and community insights. Whether you've personally experienced challenges or are a supportive community member, your perspective is essential. Priority will be given to individuals with lived experiences to ensure our board represents the program's diversity. Membership Duration: Members commit to a minimum one-year term, renewable annually in September. New members are welcome to join at any point, fostering a dynamic and inclusive committee. Meeting Schedule and Attendance: We convene a minimum of four meetings annually, each lasting 1-2 hours, with flexibility for additional sessions as needed. Quorum requires a majority of the total committee membership, including the Program Coordinator. Your involvement in the Drumbeat Advisory Board will significantly impact community wellness initiatives. Email brice.evina@safelinkalberta.ca to apply.
