Do you have a green thumb (or just enjoy being outdoors)? We’re looking for a Gardening Volunteer to help keep our outdoor spaces beautiful and welcoming for the residents of our lovely community.

A well-tended garden brings joy, peace, and sensory stimulation. Flowers, fresh air, and time outdoors can spark memories, calm anxiety, and simply make the day a little brighter.
What You’ll Do:
•	Water flowers and plants
•	Deadhead blooms and tidy up flower beds
•	Light weeding and basic garden care
•	Help maintain a peaceful, beautiful environment for residents to enjoy
•	Option to garden with residents (if you're comfortable doing so—we can guide you!)
We’re Looking For:
•	Volunteers who enjoy being outside and working with plants
•	People who are reliable, patient, and detail-oriented
•	No gardening experience required—just a willingness to help!
A Great Fit For:
•	Nature lovers
•	Students, retirees, or anyone looking for a peaceful, meaningful volunteer experience
•	Individuals or small groups (families welcome!)

Location: The Manor Village at Varsity. Seniors Retirement Community 

Time Commitment: 1 hour a week / 1 hour every other week / 1 hour every 3 weeks / 1 hour once a month. Whatever time commitment you have available 

When: Weekday mornings / Weekday afternoons / Weekday evenings / Weekend mornings / Weekend afternoons
