Child Care Program Assistant - School Readiness Program

-Help set up the room according to the planned
activities (e.g., setting up craft stations, sensory
play areas, mats for gross motor play and circle
time spaces).
-Support the facilitator during group activities
such as story time, singing, and crafts.
supervise children to ensure they are safe and
engaged.
-Assist children with activities, providing
guidance and support as needed.
-Provide one-on-one attention to children who
need extra support or reassurance.
Monitor children’s behavior and provide positive
reinforcement.
-After the program, assist with tidying up the
room and putting away materials.
-Provide feedback to the facilitator on the day’s
activities and any observations about the
children’s behavior and participation.
