Children and Youth Program Assistant

About the position:
To help support and assist the Children's and Youth Worker during program hours on program logistics, facilitation and organization; as well as helping to support the children and youths during the program hours.

Key Accountabilities:
-Greeting parents and participants while manning the registration table-Assisting with the setup, organization and logistics of the activities, snack/beverage area and program facilitation
-Supporting and motivate the children and youth as they participate in various activities
-Assist with the cleanup and tear down of the activities area near/during the end of the program/

Volunteer Requirements:
-In house Abuse Prevention training
-Intervention Record Check
-Vulnerable Sector search
-Policies and procedures
-Police Information Check
-First-Aid/Food Safety an asset
