Adult Day Program Volunteer

What is it?
The Adult Day Program promotes holistic wellness by providing stimulating, enriching activities for adults over 41 with health challenges and provides much-needed respite to caregivers. We are inviting dedicated individuals to volunteer in our Adult Day Program at Unison at Kerby Center. This role involves helping seniors through various supportive and engaging activities, contributing significantly to their quality of life.

As a volunteer, you will provide crucial support to seniors, helping enhance their daily lives through social interactions and activities. This position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on our community while gaining valuable experience in a supportive care environment.

Responsibilities Include:
- Morning Preparation: Assist with setting up the day's activities and meal preparations.
- Activity Assistance: Lead and assist in recreational activities to engage participants.
- Companionship: Provide one-on-one interaction, offering emotional support.
- Mealtime Support: Assist with serving and cleaning up meals.
- Event Coordination: Help organize special events that enhance participants' experiences.
- Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks to support program operations.

Time Commitment:
Volunteers are needed for full or half-day shifts during weekdays. The commitment is one shift per week.
