Research best practices in non-profit human resources and volunteer management.

Support the development of:

Strategies:
Policy and Procedures Manual
Organizational competencies
Functional competencies

Recruitment:
Job advertisements
Screening:
Volunteer application form
Applicant tracking process

Selection:
Orientation
Checklists
Volunteer handbook
Waivers
Complaint process/forms
PIC (Background Checks) process/forms

Ensure compliance with:

Human Rights
Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy
Occupational Health and Safety
Employment Standards

Qualifications:
Current student in Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Proficient in MS Office 
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
