Social Media Strategist

PURPOSE - to establish a consistent social media and only promotional strategy for a growing organization.

ABOUT WE DID IT:
We create accessible, inclusive learning environments outside of school hours to provide unique opportunities for Calgary children. … encouraging all children between the ages of 5-10 to learn together, laugh together, and grow together!

Duties include:
•	 Design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets
•	Manage, create and publish We Did It! content
•	Administer all company social media accounts such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
•	Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices

Description:
As a Social media strategist, you should have excellent multitasking skills to handle all of our social media accounts in a cohesive way. If you have a creative way of thinking and of presenting our brand through multiple social media channels, we would like to make you part of our growing team!
SUCCESS FACTORS:
The success in this role is defined by a clear understanding of the organization’s values, and how to impact the lives of those impacted by our organization. Developing organizational awareness with the general public and ensuring our message is pushed forward with a strong message.

COMMITMENT REQUIREMENTS
-	One 90 minute meeting per month
-	5 to 10 hours a month to organize, draft & execute action plans

Requirements
•	Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness
•	An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
•	Strong written and verbal communication skills
•	Post education in marketing is a plus!
