About WINS

Join an organization that is working to make a difference in the lives of thousands of Calgary women and their families. The Women in Need Society (WINS) is proud to be one of Calgary’s longest running social enterprises driven by our Mission of connecting women and their families with resources to thrive. Together with donors, government and many other partners, WINS works to provide wrap-around support to women who are experiencing abuse, poverty, social isolation and/or homelessness. WINS Vision is to create a community where all women are thriving and building resilient families. By running a social enterprise, WINS also provides an opportunity for women to work in a safe, empowering, meaningful environment while providing Calgarians the opportunity to shop at WINS Thrift Stores, the MORE Store by WINS, or our online shop Twice New. Shopping and donating to WINS allows Calgarians to contribute to their local community while being kind to the environment.
