At Youth Centres of Calgary (YCC), we believe that given the opportunity, youth can live inspired, healthy, and resilient lives. Our mission is to reach at-risk youth in vulnerable communities, reducing the financial, physical, and emotional impacts of poverty for both them and their families.

We provide a safe, inclusive space where youth experience belonging, support, and connection. Through meaningful involvement, we help young people build responsibility, life skills, and self-esteem.

What We Offer
Our welcoming after-school program gives youth a place to:
✅ Receive mentorship from staff and volunteers
✅ Get homework help and academic support
✅ Play sports and recreational activities
✅ Enjoy hot meals and snacks
✅ Take part in cooking and baking classes
✅ Explore music, arts, and crafts
✅ Most importantly—build lasting friendships

We Need Volunteers!
We have two locations—one in Ogden and one in Forest Lawn—and we're looking for passionate volunteers to join us at both!

If you have a passion, we welcome it! Whether it's sports, art, music, or mentorship, bring your skills to YCC and share them with our youth. We believe everyone—staff, kids, volunteers, and practicum students—should have fun while building a supportive community! 💙
