Campbell River Child Care Society

The Campbell River Child Care Society has been committed to supporting children and families in Campbell River for over 52 years. Our goal has always been to strive to contribute to family and community health through providing quality programs for children. We currently provide programs from three facilities. One facility has part of the building licensed to care for 1 to 3 year old children, and another part of the building is dedicated to free Family Place drop-in programs for caregivers and their young children. A second facility is licensed to care for children 2 1/2 years old to kindergarten age. The third facility is licensed to provide before and after care for school children, including school holidays. This facility is also licensed to provide a half day program two mornings a week for preschoolers, a Family Place program one morning a week, and a Strong Start program another morning each week. Each week over a hundred children and their parents pass through our doors.
We operate very much on a non-profit basis and rely on the skill and generosity of both staff and a volunteer Board of Directors to maintain our facilities and program quality.
