Camp Chestermere

Camp Chestermere is a Christian not for profit organization that believes in building relationships, creating experiences and developing people.
Camp Chestermere operationally has three distinct seasons: September – April, May - June and July - August. From September until April, Camp Chestermere has a staff team of 6 full time and 5 part time. During these months we host rental groups including weddings, birthday parties, family reunions, corporate events, local sports
teams, youth groups, men's and women's retreats, conferences and more. Part time hosts are hired to help facilitate these groups. In addition, we host our own School Year Camps for Ages 7 - 11, 11 - 15, and 14 – 18. Camp Chestermere also runs its own community events such as Fall Fest. From May - June, our staff grows to a team of about 20 - 25 people. In addition to the events described above, during these two months we host schools for one-day Activity Days. The months of May and June are also used to prepare for the Summer Camping Season. During the months of July and August we run summer Overnight Camps for Ages 7-11, 11 - 15, 14 – 18 and 9 weeks of Day Camps for Ages 5 – 13. We continue to host other groups on the weekends. For the past two years we hosted the Canadian Wakesurfing National Championship in August. During the summer we grow to a rotational staff of between 90 – 100 people.
Camp Chestermere works hard at establishing, maintaining and fostering relationships with a variety of community partners including our member churches, non-member churches, Synergy, City of Chestermere Public Library, Rocky View Chestermere Agricultural Society, Chestermere Minor Hockey, and many more.
