CATS Cat Advocates Teaching & Saving Society is looking to expand our Transportation Team! Volunteer position duties and requirements: •Valid class 5 with clean abstract. •Familiarity with transport safety programs is an asset. •Safe and proficient operation of extended length/height one ton cube van. •Familiarity with safe work practices regarding warehouse equipment use (pallet jack, lift truck and forklift.) •Familiarity with safe work practices for heavy lifting and heavy pallet maneuvering, including capability of sustained heavy lifting. (litter bags, food bags, heavy pallets) •Flexible schedule for driving responsibilities (including the ability to do day trips to/from mainland.) Experience is an asset, training will be provided.
