Social Media Content Creator

2 hours / weekly
Prefer minimum 3 months up to 6 months
Autism Independent Living Association is an Edmonton based charity that is dedicated to Building an Intentional Supportive Housing Community for Autistic Adults in Edmonton.

Our mission is to support autistic adults with moderate needs to develop to their full potential by providing person-centered care needed to live independently in the community. 
There are 4 components of this mission:
1.	To foster a supportive community for the benefit of autistic adults and their families
2.	To develop leadership skills for autistic adults.
3.	To develop independent living skills for autistic adults who will live in the community.
4.	To build a sustainable and intentional housing community led by autistic adults and their allies

We are looking for someone who is passionate about serving the autism community and is creative and able to work with minimal supervision. 
We are seeking a dedicated Content Creator-Social Media Volunteer to boost our online presence and engage our community. Your creativity and strategy will amplify our mission, share inspiring stories, and grow our audience.

Responsibilities:
Work within an established digital marketing strategy while looking for ways to drive change and seek further opportunities. 
Manage social media (Facebook/ Instagram), post highly relevant articles and organization’s updates. 
Track and manage analytics to provide success measurement, insights and opportunities, track social reach, mentions, and competitive streams.
Create and manage Facebook Ads to drive donations through targeted audience reach. Optimize the ad campaigns to increase conversions, likes, and reach. 
Use Facebook Insights to gauge post effectiveness and gain an understanding of the non-profit’s audience.
Maintain a consistent social media presence, fostering high web traffic and engagement.
Create original content, manage posts, and interact with followers to build community.
The ability to create branded, shareable video files to post on social networks, and leverage organization’s coverage from news and media would be an asset.

Skill set and Experience
Proven experience as a Content Creator or in a similar role.
Strong writing skills with an ability to craft clear, engaging social media messages.
Proficiency in Canva or similar platforms for creating and scheduling posts.

College diploma or higher in Marketing, Business Management, Arts or related field
