Social Media Assistant Manager, Ben Stelter School Fundraiser (BSSF)

Role Overview:
The Social Media Assistant Manager will support the Social Media Manager in running the Ben Stelter School Fundraiser’s social media accounts. This role will involve assisting with
engagement, helping to manage posts, and ensuring that the fundraiser’s social media
presence remains active and impactful. Applicants must be in Grade 9 or above during the
2025 - 2026 school year. This role will begin in the spring for initial setup, but the peak
period will be from September to December.

Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in Managing Social Media Accounts: Help monitor and update BSSF’s
LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X accounts.
● Help with Content Posting: Support in posting pre-made content and scheduling posts
when needed.
● Monitor Social Media Trends: Identify trends that could benefit the fundraiser’s online
presence.
● Collaborate with the Social Media Team: Work alongside the Social Media Manager,
Video Editor, and Graphic Designer to maintain a consistent social media presence.
● Report to the Social Media Manager: Provide updates on tasks and assist where
needed.

Requirements:
● Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X,
Youtube, TikTok).
● Organized and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
● Willingness to collaborate with a team and take direction from the Social Media Manager.
