Help ensure the success of the Centre for Family Literacy's annual Links fore Literacy fundraiser as part of our Golf Tournament planning committee. If you enjoy golf, fundraising, networking, and supporting literacy, this is the role for you! This year's tournament will be held on Wednesday, August 20th at the Broadmoor Public Golf Course in Sherwood Park. Provide support by: - Seek sponsorships, raffle donations, and tournament prizes from businesses. - Promote the tournament and recruit teams within your network. - Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, donors, and participants. - Help with planning activities for golfers on the course. - Attend the tournament and help with setup and participant interactions. - Provide support and feedback during planning stages and after the event. Time commitment: - Attend ~15 committee meetings per year (1.5 hours each). - Spend an additional ~20 hours throughout the year in support of the event.
