Elizabeth Fry Society of Edmonton is dedicated to supporting women in the community, correctional institutions, and in the law courts. We have a variety of programs to help women better their lives such as: Financial Literacy, Employment Program, Prison Liaison Program, Human Rights in Action and Aboriginal Womens Program, .

At EFRY our main goals are as follows:

Integration: reduce barriers and improve community integration for women and girls who are or are at risk of becoming criminalized.

Human Rights: protect the human rights of women and girls who are or are at risk of becoming criminalized.

Prevention: reduce criminalization of women and girls.

Volunteers for the society should be non judgmental, have empathetic understanding, and have a passion to support those who need it most at times.
